Hey everyone! [Of which there seem to be very few...]
I recently moved here and would love to get started running again. I think it's good to have a community on here like this, but I wonder if there is any way to reach more people- I know Self.com has online community groups interested in workout buddies and motivational groups, etc, and I wonder if there is a way to link this to something like that in order to get more input.
Anyhow, I currently don't have too much time to run and am still unsure about where to go [that is both safe and preferably trail; I'm used to mountain trails, not asphalt], but I'd eventually like to start running seriously enough to train for either a small race or a triathlon [eventually]. I've seen people running out late at night in town, but that seems like it is a little unsafe in this city. Not sure what to think about it.
Also, if anyone knows of any good indoor, free, and possibly uncrowded tracks in town, please let me know!
